OutSpoken Forums –
The Wedding Party is proud to host the OutSpoken forums, the first online Forum dedicated specifically to the marriage issue! Why should you register? The answer to that question is simple, because your opinion counts! When someone who is "on the fence" about our right to marry reads the words of a mother who wants her gay daughter to have the same kind of wedding that her non-gay daughter has, or learns how other countries are dealing with the issue, or simply finds reassurance that they are not alone in their feelings, that person is given the opportunity to transform!

All you have to do to join the conversation in the OutSpoken Forums is register! Answer a few simple questions and agree to the rules of the Forum and you are set. You can even upload an image of yourself so people can actually see who is saying what. Once you have registered, you will be able to respond to anyone else's posted topics, as well as create your own topic for discussion. You can also refer friends and family members who are questioning the issue to The OutSpoken Forums. They do not have to register to read what other people have written. But if they want to share their opinions, then they must register.

The OutSpoken Forums consists of seven general topics, with related subtopics, ranging from general community announcements, national and international news, equality and family, legal and spiritual matters. You can discuss, for instance, what you see as the difference between civil unions and marriage or what your religion thinks about marriage and equality.

Each time you post your thoughts on an issue, any registered participant can respond. Each time someone responds to a post that you have created, you receive an email notification allowing you the opportunity to respond back. Thus the conversation goes.

Unregistered observers can follow along in the discussion; however, they must register before they can join in the conversation. We don't filter out anyone unless they violate the OutSpoken Forum chat rules. Everyone must be able to speak his or her mind, even those who disagree. That way, we all benefit from open and honest communication.
